I just got back from the gas station.
As I was walking there, I was in my usual state of mind.
Thinking too much, feeling sorry for myself.
As I walked I saw how everything looked so cold, the clouds were turning a deep grayish blue, the wind was lashing at my face.

I went to buy my mother a goody for her headache.
As I left the store a woman walk toward me coming from the bus stop.
She asked me for some change to catch the bus.
I felt really bad so I gave her more than enough.
She looked at me, almost about to cry as if she wanted to say thank you.
I told her to have a good night, and I headed back home.

Now, I don't believe in any form of a god or deity.
But I do believe that the universe has ways of fucking with your head and showing you perspectives of life that you haven't seen before.
This wasn't a homeless woman just someone who didn't have enough money to get home.

I'm sitting here thinking up thoughts and problems that I have when I actually have a chance to change my situation. Some people don't have that chance.

So I walk home.
It begins to drizzle, I don't care.

Mom always said "A life needs solid plans," but really, a life needs secret plans.
No problem.

You're a good kid. But it really puts things in perspective. Much respect man.
